After Market Panniers for BMW R1300 GS Adventure using BMW Racks ?

Hi,
Is anyone aware of any Pannier System for the R1300 GS Adventure that uses the BMW racking >? I bought the new GS with the BMW Luggage and I just collected the bike but BMW now advise the panniers will not be available until May or June but I have a load of trips to do between now and then. The bike already has the rack for the BMW panniers and the top plate for the back box so if I buy a different set of boxes I don't want to have to pay for another rack as I have already paid several hundred quid to have these racks in anticipation of getting the BMW boxes.

Probably as well getting some soft throw overs and a roll bag then sell them on when your panniers arrive, you won’t need extra racks that way

You might even be able to negotiate a loan of something like that from your dealer as it’s a supply issue

I’ve been looking into this. Various manufacturers have scaffolding to fit on so that existing luggage can be used.

Bumot told me that their panniers to fit on the OEM racks are due very soon… Panniers for OEM 1300GSA racks are 2 x 45L, width 98 cm, top box ( 43L or 30L ) fit directly onto the OEM plate.

Its strange you are being told by BMW, June for panniers. I have mine. I am waiting for the top box, which I've been told is a couple of weeks. Sycamore BMW even have them for sale on their Ebay page. Good luck

Im in Ireland. Only 2 BMW Mottorad dealers in the whole country and I reckon we are at the end of the order fulfillment list. Everyone in Ireland who ordered the BMW panniers are waiting for them I am told.

Yeah, I see you are in Ireland. Poor state of affairs. I could understand a couple of weeks delay, but June. I hope they pull their fingers out, and that you get it sorted. They are great panniers though. Lots of thought has gone into them. Very high quality. Just want my top box

I called them last week they are due in today and place the first order with them for the black panniers to fit directly onto the gsa original alloy rails.

Look good first picture I’ve seen of them fitted
