No GS (with the exception of the Camera-Bike), but perhaps anyway worth seeing: Some impressions of our after-school-ride yesterday with the new MT 125 of my son (his first motorbike-season):

Hope you´ll enjoy!

Constructive opinion, nice overtake not sure why he braked. Positioning needs attention and discipline ( consistency ) in application in order to maximise view which in turn allows him to maximise his safety margin and, should he wish to at some stage, ride quickly and safely.

Quite liked the video and soundtrack.

:agree

positioning needs attention now before he gets into going faster.

Positioning needs always attention! And his could be worse for one riding since December (and is already better than that of the Goldwing-Rider, see e.g. at 1:37)

But of course, we continue working on that!

So thx for your feedback!

Enjoy sharing every minute of your motor biking adventures with your son because you'll never get them back.

Whilst that's true, father/son time shouldnt be a lesson with Dad pecking at his head - instructors are for that.

Good on you kradventure and son wishing you many more happy miles riding together, for such a newbie who safer to ride with....rather dad than his mates.

No one was saying that it should, but it would nice if they had a lot of years riding time. Get the lad to learn now rather than end up in the shit through not correcting bad habits:thumb2

My approach was always to go for it and see if my son could keep up. I'd look in the mirror and he'd be riding the wheels off his Hornet to stay with me. These days with both of us on LC GSes and him being nearly 30 years younger, the tables can often be turned somewhat.... :blast

I agree, better to do the development when still a novice....i just think that the OP was sharing what's a happy moment....and rather than a "pleased for you bro to be able to share that" it generated a "his skills need improvement".......

I thought the lad did very well, positioning wasn't that bad either, the overtake was carried out in both a safe, quick and positive manner. Great to see you on the road together. :friday
