After sundays heat & traffic running 10/50

It was so hot in traffic filtering for mile after mile sunday my engine was rattling (cam chain ) @ 2500 rpm
Have moved up to 10/50 full synthetic & it's a lot nicer

Rattles

My camchain rattles when it's hot as well. Got slightly better with 20/50 but it's still there about 2300-2500 rpm. Doesn't do it when I've got earplugs in and a full-face hemet on - funny that!

The dealers say it's not exceptional. Suppose I'm just paranoid about noises.

Mine clatters on every start up, presumably as the hydraulic tensioner pumps up or something. Runs OK though.
