1150 is cutting edge technology from where I'm sat...

I was pootling about on Steptoes venerable K100 earlier. There's a bike that needs a sixth gear.

I personally think that the good old 1150 is definitely a better looking bike by far, as said before the new 1200 just looks like a bunch of random bits bolted together and too angry. And it certainly doesn't seem like it would be upto the sort of abuse the old 1150s have been through. I couldn't help but laugh at the fact its an extra £300 odd for spoked wheels on an.adventure bike?

Well I went to bed and slept on it, after reading the 1200GS LC brochure last night

I awoke today refreshed, came to my senses and I do agree that the 1150 is a great looking GS, so concur with the other previous posters on this thread

A couple of mine, huge grin factor every time I ride them
