Aftermarket Alarms

Hi

I've recently got a 650GS thats all nice & shiney.
unfortunalty it doesn't have the oem alarm/immobilser & i want to get one fitted to complement the hardware security.
I've long been a fan of Clifford car alarms & they offer a model for bikes, the GP1000T. Does anyone have any experience of this alarm?
My local clifford dealer on fit car alarms so i need to find someone to fit it as well!

OR can anyone recommend another system or installer for me to look into?

can the BMW OEM system be retro fitted??

I got an Abolsute Protec. Its a reworked main brand alarm. It was fitted at my home all in for about £300 or so. It has an alarm and immobiliser. Only alarm to have a 3 year insurance approval or summat. Basically, a nice piece of kit. Not gone wrong on me yet, despite a 7000miles jaunt round Argentina (very bad roads at times, dust, moisture, cold etc...).

Thanks for the respones guys, 3 replies & 3 different recomendations!!
I'll have to look into them in a bit more detail...i like the look of the protec although a bit more than i'd budgeted....
