Has anyone looked at the Laminar lip that is now available for the LC. Or what about the touratech little added screen on top?

In answer to johanncar, Yes I've been using one of those TT add-ons & to cut a long story short, it IS an improvement for me (approx 6' tall) noise levels are now noticeably different between the high & low settings on the GS.
(Couldn't tell any difference between H&L with standard set up)

I'd bought a Givi touring screen for my Triumph 800 XC found it to be no real improvement on standard so took a gamble on a clip-on which I'd seen on the TT stand at the UK bike show, motorcycle live!
It's actually the one for a Honda Trans-alp!

They ain't cheap, approx £120, look ugly! & once you've got the clamp pads adjusted (tiny 7mm spanners required) is easy to fit & remove (lockable)

That white GS LC and screen do look good.... agree that white sets off the tinted screen.

DaveTez.... yes, the TT spoiler is excellent, but the only issue I ever had with one was that when it rained, the rain globules sit on it and being a bit of a shorty (5 feet 10 inches) I couldn't see through them very well. The rain globules obscure the Perspex. OK for a taller rider, but one of the strange little quirks that some might experience.

The new Powerbronze screen looks good and NN is bringing it out from 10th July. It should do well.

NN screen arrived fitted and just been out for a blast before the day starts.

Big improvement over standard, way better set up now than my old GSA and can happily ride up to and beyond making progress speeds with visor up.

Great service from NN too

Just bought one from ,Nippy norman, good screen ,slight tint ,fits well with small lower screen ,works a treat if you are over 6ft .

Guys, just a bit of a heads up (and not meant to be disrespectful in any way whatsoever) but please don`t adjust ya screen at daft speeds.

I speak from experience (because I`m seriously stupid) but a) the downforce stops any movement of the adjusting gears and b) its bloody dangerous of course.

I've greased up me shaft well in fact both shafts also taken the non gear side to bits and lubed up the internal mechanism and clock spring it works much better now but of course not at speed cus as Mark says the loadings are way too high.

But seriously, I did the shafts too but after seeing your post I`ll do the internals also, ta for the tip!

I used the little bottle of silicon that Arai kindly provide, works a treat on my shaft.

Mind you that still didn't stop be swearing away as to why it wouldn't shift whilst making progress , until the penny dropped and I slowed - so well point out Mark!

and its a tadge safer too!
