Been looking at the map, although iv'e been on a lot of roads , i rarely go up dead end roads, even glens unless visiting someone.

So this year i'm going to do a bit more exploring.

There is ,as i'm sure a lot of you will know a lot of back roads / dead ends.

Arnisdale is top of the list for an investigation.

Any other suggestions? Favourites.

Kinloch Hourn, 22 miles down a dead end road.

Glen Etive, 11 miles to the end.

Both fantastic roads.

Two of my favourites, see my Scotland trip reports. :beerjug:

Ardnamurchan a' the way oot tae Sanna:thumb

There used tae be a wee tea room shack type thing if ye go on past Arnisdale tae Corran, crackin run:beerjug:

Lower Diabaig, north side of Loch Torridon...

Oh, and Scalpay off Harris... :)

Ya widnae believe it i've been on ah the anes suggested so far apart from scalpay .

Keep them comin tho.

Onybidy been on the road fae Lochaline tae Drimnin?

Probably too obvious, but I only found it last week, but Glen Lyon up past Bridge of Balgie and then back over Ben Lawers was a good detour for me.
