Aint Autumn Brilliant!!

Had a couple of great rides this week. Monday, 35Col & myself had a fine run up through Deeside to Braemar then on to the Spittal for lunch. Followed by a run through Glen Isla to Kirriemiur then home. Fine dry roads all day.

Then yesterday another fine run down through Dunkeld on along a fine 'comedy' road to Kenmore via Amulree. Never done that one before and the leaf stewn harpins were great fun After a run along the south side of Loch tay we stopped at Killin for a spot of lunch before heading up and over the hydro road to Glen Lyon. You wouldn't think it was October. Must be the 'Indian Summer' they have been hoping for.

Good weather, great bikes, fantastic country....Good Times.

Yesterday? Bloody hell...it wasn't like that in Fife! I had to drive over to Perth in the thickest fog I've seen for ages. The amount of cars that came out of nowhere with no lights on was frightening.

I was at my office in Newcastle today, came home up the Coldstream road, mild temperature, little bit windy but not too much and everything looked so beautiful.....I get so excited watching the leaves being whipped into the air by the cars in front.....I love Autumn

Certainly Was Nice Yesterday . . .

. . . took a run down A7 / A68 from Dalkeith (Motorrad East) to Selkirk, then A708 to St Mary's Loch, then tried single track road alongside Megget and Talla Reservoirs. Beautiful, in fact too much low sun in my eyes. Just made it home before dusk (black visor day). The A701 from Moffat to Edinburgh is great run when it's empty.
