Ok.sold my 1200 GSA for a good price. New C evolution coming soon , but thinking I
May get the new base GSA on PCP as the Evo is an unknown quantanty and will buy that cash as pcp payments are high. Was at the dealer today and the new 1250 GSA in grey looked great . Looking at a base or TE as residuals / monthly payments are not so different . T max as deposit ,can’t be arsed with E bay and I’ve had good use out of it. Like the TFT etc . My 1200 was the best bike I have owned . So is the 1250 GSA a much better bike ? I already miss the GSA and want the ability to travel distances without the charge hassle of the EVO . Just got a new job so that’s good. I guess this has been covered elsewhere but do you 1250 owners think it’s even better than the last edition of the 1200 GSA WC ?
I thought I didn’t need one but perhaps I do. I can get a good deal as I have bought loads of bikes through my local dealer . Thanks in advance

In short - it's a great bike and a fantastic package if you like what the GS offers.

For me personally - after 4 GS's over the past few years I've just moved to a GSA for the first time.
The power increase is small but significant and now makes the bigger bike a joy to ride.

In the past I thought it was a bit to bulky and heavy for the power. (Only my opinion guys)
Now - it's easy to manage at low speeds, a blast to ride at higher speeds. Just right.
Or maybe I just fancied a change.

Each version has moved the game on a little at time and the new bike does the same.
The last GS LC was a cracking bike and still is. I didn't have any negative issues with the bike at all.

But I loved the GS package years ago - so as said if you're a fan already, you won't be disappointed with the latest offer.

Thanks chaps . I've just seen the other thread . While I was in Vietnam recently we ran into a Motorrad Tour , all on 1250GSA's . They looked huge out there but had done 500 miles in one hit from Ho Chi Minh !! We were doing 160km a day on XR 250/400's but more off road stuff . It made me realise again how I missed my GSA having just sold it !!

Enjoyed being on it last weekend at Off Road Skills.
Certainly drives very differently low down however the TC is very different and intrusive.
Dash is very nice and much easier to see.
If the deal is right come september then I may well be moving across.
