I had a conversation wiyh proff earlier about the setup on my 100gs. Didnt seem to make sense so I was going to PM him but could not see how to attatch pics so I'll put it on here and you can all have a go. Haines show just one breather opening with a reed . mine seems to have two with the pipe to the airbox comming from the forward one( there is nothing underneath this cover, just a hole into the crankcase) the rearmost one contains the reed valve but there is no provision for any sort of pipe.
Any ideas... import perhaps.

The cover near the back of the engine vents up into the cover and then down into the cases again before breathing out through the cover at the front of the engine.

Actually just been out to my 78 RS motor. I'm just about about to replace the breather for the later type. Mines exactly the same setup as Pastyman's. The vent pipe at the back is a /6 setup I think - at least my /6 had it. All of my engines vent from the front. I've got 5 airhead engines ( 2 * 78's, 2 * 93's and my Para PD engine) all the same :nenau
