Thanks Neil. Have just read that a GS 2005 onwards Canbus will not power a compressor, so understand why your solution. Ta very much.
What compressor do you have Redrick and did you put a din connector on it to make things nice and eeeeeasy?

Redrick, so you plug your compressor into the Din socket and it works fine? No Canbus issues that it describes on the link of that page you sent. I also read it doesn't come with a Din adapter but yours did? Slime is £49 and airman is £25??? From NN

I have the Airman pump, great performance. I changed the cable on it to match my CTEK Battery charger connector which is wired direct to the bikes battery.

Ah. You might have a problem there then. The compressor pulls much more current under load.
You may find when you come to use it anger, it trips.
Suggest you try it on a tyre with some pressure in, before relying on it.

Can I suggest you consider fitting an auxiliary din socket to your bike, direct to the battery via a 10 Amp fuse. That way you can use it for compressors, heated clothing etc without fear of it tripping.
Also, because it's direct to the battery, you can use any old charger too.
Or slap a optimate fly lead on battery to keep it topped up in winter.
You can then use the same flylead to powder devices - just need to stick an optimate styled plug on end of it - from this you can power what you like with no canbus shenanigans to deal with.

That's what I have done. I also have a connection fitted near the ECU that can power a USB adaptor fitted to a cigarette lighter size socket to charge my phone placed under the rear seat. Just a case of connecting the Optimate plugs together when needed (in case the USB adaptor draws current even when not in use).
Thanks everyone. Looks like my options are auxiliary DIN socket, but would also need an adapter for the cigarette socket on compressor or I have the Oxford 900 optimiser, same difference, so I just need to find a plug to fit the fly lead and attach that to the compressor. Thanks again
Funnily enough glen I did mention this last Wednesday whilst sat right opposite you down the Acton arms id tried the using the Oxford flying lead but glad I tried it because you need atlesst a 10a fuse I've got the airman pump 18 quid Amazon so I have left the Oxford lead and go direct off battery with a 15a fuse through croc clips yes overkill but nothing worse than having a pump that won't work
