Air cooled twin gearbox spares

I have a gearbox in pieces with a damaged backing plate where the lip of the flange around the drive shaft exit is a little on the sad side.... Any chance of one?

I need to have a look at what there is,end casings are getting a bit scarce so I would be reluctant to part with one just yet,
Most of the ones I have need repairing so bear with me a while:thumb

The gearbox is from a R60/7 and there are various numbers inside
1.1
1231596
75
Can it be a 1975 R60/7 5 speed gearbox?
I have photos but I am having difficulty loading them

Do you have a kick start shaft for a 1970 R75/5 by any chance?

Thanks

Motorworks offer them at £110 but I doubt they will have an undamaged one.

Ho you have any of the high 5th low 1st gears suitable for R100GS, 1991 ish vintage?
That's a new one on me:confused:
Thought it was just 1150 that had optional ratio,s
If you can shed any more light on identifying the parts I'll take a look,
I have boxes of clusters,
Your more than welcome to pop over for a rummage:augie

Yeah, theres a higher 5th and a lower 1st available. heres an article on it http://www.gunsmoke.com/motorcycling/r100gs/tranny/index.html

HPN do them http://www.hpn.de/english/english.html

I cant see how you would recognise them on the clusters other than laboriously counting the teeth, not many boxes will have them so odds are you don't have them but no harm in looking. I'll post again if I find more info.

Richie moore does a +10% fifth gear.

To be honest I'm not sure I'd want a lower 1st gear. I never use 1st gear as it is off road and always pull off in 2nd.

It might just be the light but the inside of the tunnel on that cover looks bolloxed. When the release bearing fails it spins the pushrod release mechanism and takes the tunnel out.

It could well just be the light though.
