Air freight weight

For those who have air freighted an 1150GSA with alu panniers, what was the approximate size of the crate and weight?

Need to give the shipper an estimate.

I'm offshore at the mo and not in a position to do it myself.

Trying to arrange shipping from Saudi to the UK as wife and daughter bemoans me wanting to ride it home and having an adventure. Not sure if it is my life she is worried about losing or my wage slip.

Try talking to these folk, they airfreighted our GS's back from The Gambia
earlier this year.
If you look at page 1 on this thread you will see that they shipped the bikes in metal crates in pairs, although my bike was shipped on a metal pallet without sides, the bike was secured with webbing.

Using a crate from the local Harley dealer and air freighting to Manchester airport with Kanoo early September. So will have a ready made crate for sale or free for helping get it back to Nantwich.
