Which model air hawk fits the 2013 GSWC?

I have a Sargent seat on order which is in development. Is there an alternative that is 500 mile comfy and available?

Try the one it came with!

Seriously, I think it's the best they've supplied on the GS so far. I rode out to the Saxonring MotoGP, in the former East Germany, in the summer with no problem at all.

My 2006 GS had a painful joke for a saddle causing me to go the Sargent route (after being rescued by the Air-Hawk as an interim). The 2009 seat was an improvement over the 2006 effort but not as good as the Sargent. But the 2013 seat is virtually as good as the Sargent so I'm not looking to invest a serious amount of money on a marginally better saddle.

As for the Air-Hawk (an excellent piece of kit I have to say) I would expect the model quoted for any of the GSs would do. The unit is not tailor made rather it is a universal fitting with only a few variations in size/style available.

Agreed the stockseat is an improvement but for me it is painful after 250 miles and I am joining a trip for 36 days with a number of 430 mile plus days........the issue is 36 days on my butt!

I have completed 9000 miles on the one it came with!

I use an Air Hawk Cruiser medium on my GS on longer runs fits fine although I did buy it for my previous K1300r!

My wife had her seat redone by a man called Tony Archer, thanks to a thread on this forum, her bike is a 2006 gs 1200, it made a great improvement to her seat, i was thinking to contact him in the New year to find out if he would do my gs lc seat.

+1 for the stock seat.:thumb I've bought a Kahedo sport seat for the new bike, but don't expect it to be as comfortable as the stock seat, but it's thinner, and looks better.:D We'll see.
