Airbeam Tents ?

Do know somebody thats got one of these, not sure if its a Vango, could be another make.
He thinks its the best thing since sliced bread. :beerjug:

Just watched video and seems a good idea, but not sure as a biking tent. Quite heavy and big pack size, plus that pump will take some space.
As a family tent looks good.

They have a display of these at the" Hidden Garden " garden centre at Charlton Village, Shepperton. Alright if you are using your car but a bit heavy for bikes and the pump is a big beast.

Thanks guys, this is purely for taking the family camping, not for biking.

The air beam tenet just looked so easy to put up, I just wonded it'd they really were that good in real life ?

Thanks

We were recently looking for a family tent that was easy to put up, and also a bit different. Ended up getting one of these & we're off to sunny Norfolk next week to try it out :)

Hi

We've been toying again with the idea of camping and saw these at Millets and then Amazon:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Vango-AirBeam-Velocity-400-Tent/dp/B0052WKV3M/ref=pd_sim_sbs_sg_1

- has anyone bought one / used one - are they any good ?

I really like the idea of no blasted poles to muck around with and so would the rest of the family.

cheers

They are pretty amazing, don't buy from Amazon though, as you are in Surrey you have The Family Tent Shop in Guildford and Home Counties Camping in Nutty Lane Shepperton. Both shops owned and run by Russell & Lisa, go and ask for a demo and you will see how good they are.

I am one of their suppliers, but not tents. If I was in the market for a tent, having worked for Khyam for 5 years (up to 2007), my money would now be on an airbeam.
