I've been looking forward to posting up these pics!
You may or may not know that I started up my own business a couple of years ago doing bespoke and custom paintwork for motorcycles. Here's a few examples of my work ....... http://www.ukgser.com/forums/showth...se-take-a-look?highlight=paint+jobs+take+look

I was approached by a fellow forum member last year to paint his Cafe racer project that he was in the process of building. He asked me to keep the photos to myself until he'd finished building the bike. I got a PM from him earlier giving me the go ahead. I think his build thread is being written as we speak!

He wanted a subtle but custom paint job, he brought the parts down and I went through colours etc.

The party trick with this one is that I was asked to do the BMW roundels in paint. I suggested that we substitute the original silver parts of the badge with gold to compliment the rest of the paint job and also to add a bespoke feel to it.

Here are the parts after being prepped and primed.

Then came the painstaking process of painting the badges ....

And so the colours go on ....

And then on with the main candy red ....

The tail section received the same treatment ....

I've seen a few photos of the bike during the build but not one of the completed bike, I'm looking forward to it. From what I saw it's had some beautifully thought out details and gorgeous components lavished on it!

Was hoping to do my round trip and drop the bodywork to you this week - then collect the engine and gearbox from Richie. Unfortunately the motor isn't ready. Hopefully soon, otherwise I'll put it all in a box and send it.

No rush fella, just do the round trip when the engine is ready :thumb

R 90 s paintwork

Hi there
Having read your post I was wondering if you would be able to paint my cycle parts.
The tank has just been re sealed but has one small dent and some surface rust underneath.
I have repaired both mudguards and also strengthened them on the inside.
The original front fairing has been repaired and strengthened with GRP resin and tissue matting, while the rear cowling has been soda blasted.
I would like it resprayed in orange/grey as I want a ginger bike
Regards
Byron

More photos

Here are a few more pictures, at the moment I can only imagine them in orange

Thanks for your consideration

I'll drop you a PM.

Cheers, CT
