I've got to be honest Proff they do nothing for me. Nice looking bikes but about as much use as a chocolate fireguard. /5 onwards are good usable bikes on todays roads but anything older is for viewing pleasure only.

Started life as a fecked PD replica based on an R80ST but yes a lot of effort put in but it was a money pit all SS fastenings rebuilt gearbox everything powder coated renewed all frame running gear bearings, new fork seals, rebuilt wheels, para rear drive inspected no wear showing, para front forks, modified rear subframe to shorten bike.
Definitely a bitsa

It's going to be a complete wheels up refurbishment. With that kind of neglect it will also mean a complete mechanical rebuild to be confident that the insides are OK as well.
What a shame that the owner didn't think to clean and polish it and then grease it up for mothballing when he stopped riding it.
As I'm typing it's at £3,650.00. It will probably go way beyond £5,000 and then you'll possibly spend another £5,000 - £10,000 to get it right.

I quite like customised airheads.. but that one just doesn't do it for me especially @ £3500 start!
I do however like the R69 that Proff posted.. I could happliy make room in the garage for it.. but don;t have the cash.
