Being a mono it has the rise under acceleration but I've found that helps you get traction, you do have to watch out for sharp bumps on the trail and just back off the throttle as you go over them so that you have less of a jolt to the system.

That looks fabulous.

Thanks....that's mine.....and Steptoe....what a great job....runs like clockwork now....ok a noisy clock...it is an airhead after all.

On comments re sorting....agree the front brake is marginal at best but you learn to ride around it. The suspension has been sorted with a YSS adjustable rear shock and straight wound springs and race tech emulators in the forks....massive difference over standard.

Other than that...just love riding the old gal.
