Can any one advise as to what type/size of 12V electrical connector socket will accommodate the plug on the AirMan Tour compressor?

Many thanks.

They have various connectors and also a set of clamps.
I changed mine to use the heated clothing lead.

Mine has a Hella (DIN) plug on it that fits both a standard car cigarette lighter socket and the smaller diameter Hella BMW bike power socket.

The pump draws more than 5 amps so will trip the socket on a BMW motorcycle, you need to fit a separate socket fused directly to the battery.

The bonus is, once fitted you can also use the socket to optimate the battery directly (without all that canbus power management bollocks).

I put a fused permanent live socket on my GS, I can plug a charger or tyre pump in, but it is normally connected to a usb charger in the topbox. There’s a switch on that so it doesn’t run the battery down.

Something like this but much cheaper https://www.ebay.com/itm/123869207569. I think they were about £15 for five plugs & sockets

Put the same socket on my Guzzi for winter trickle charger.

Mine came with a standard car 12v connection and also a pair of clips that i simply attach directly to the battery.
