Akra headers

Thinking about matching my Akra end can with the header system. Other than pounding your wallet, what is the difference between the stainless and titanium systems?
Pros/cons?
Are they all de-catted?
Easy DIY fit?

Titanium are lighter (not that you'd notice!), and go a lovely blue colour.

Ti goes a nice blue colour, SS go a straw colour

No cons other than the cost

Yes

Yes, even more so if you have a bike lift

I have the SS and they have made a difference to the mid range, be aware that they make the bike louder when used with the Akra can or other aftermarket ones.

My stock pipes (2017 LC) are blued/blueing nicely - which I like. Lighter isn't really an issue as the bike is weight stress tested carrying me!

If you get akra headers go titanium. Lovely colour and you don't ever have to clean them.

What happens to the stock exhaust valve cables etc ? Do you get a warning light ?

Remove the cables from the servo box and leave box connected. This gives a silent error.

Other option is to get a Servo Buddy device.

I've done this but now have as servo fault.

Has anyone gone down the servo buddy route and can recommend one to me.

A quick search on eBay throws up a couple from Australia or the USA but none in he UK.

You shouldn't have a dash error. The servo box needs to stay plugged in, just open the box and remove the wire cables from the pulley system. I have done this on my 2107 GSA and no dash errors, only a silent error if you do a ODB2 diagnostic scan. I am not sure that the ServoPlug removes the silent error either??

Also you will need to add some sort of tune to fix your AFR's as will be running too lean without the cat

To clarify I've done as you say in removing the cables and leaving the servo plugged in.
This performed perfectly for nine months but now has developed a fault where it keeps "hunting".
I've started a thread regarding this to see if anyone else has had the same problem with no response.
To cover your other point I've also had my bike "Hilltopped".

Got it. Sounds like the servo has packed up, so legit error. Try pickup a ServoBuddy or a used servo on eBay
