akra

yes mate just crack the allen bolts with an allen key the welds snap easy enough,be careful not to drop the bolt, probably best to do it whilst off.......i speak from experience lol

Pictures pleases skid, thinking of a Remus myself can't justify £800 for the akrapovic trying to listen to one on you tube with no Joy!

cheers hazzy, whats it sound like with them removed? can they be refitted?

ring a couple of dealers you should get a good deal plus 2 year warranty, you'll get 70-80% of price back when you sell bike:D

How long did you have to wait for it !

I like the akro and may treat myself to one as I went with the Remus can and its very nicely made but even with the baffle in when you give it the beans its fecking noisy and doing my nut in or I'm getting a old grumpy cnunt .

i ordered it 3 days ago:D

I had the baffles taken out of mine by the dealer, but they were easy to remove. Here's a picture without them (looks much better without IMO:D)

And the sound in some of those tunnels in Europe was EPIC!:JB

Is there much difference in the volume with the baffles removed?

I've not ridden the GS with the baffles in, but my other bike is much louder with the baffles out, so imagine it would be quieter with them in.:thumb

That's what I'd normally think, but they just seem to be collars, so I'm I'm not sure how much difference they make.
