Akrapovic & BMW Skidplate

OK, heres a question, has anyone fitted a full Akrapovic system to their
GSA that have the large BWM skid plate, The same plate thats fitted to the 30 year edition bike.

I went shopping today, and have been told i will need to modify this skid plate. before i can fit the system.

So have you done it, or know what the modification is.

Not sure about the large plate, I have full akra system on mine if you want a picture or any measurements to compare to yours send me your e mail via pm. I have 2011 GSA.

I think the issue is the large plate has a mounting at the back, that needs altering. (guessing). I thourght someone would have jumped in by now with the exact answer.

A big hammer is my preferred tool for most modifications

I've got the ordinary bash plate on a mk2 GSA with the Akra Ti stacked twin cans. The headers fit exactly the same as the genuine bmw and Remus headers. The only difference is the Akra joint under gearbox is a little to the left. The twin silencer Y piece is compatible only with the Akra Ti headers.
