Hi All

Just fitted my 2010 GS with a full Akrapovic system, fuelings a tad out and Hilltop will sort that out for me, but whats the vote on the dB killer

In or out ??. Had a small 5 mile blast with it out and yes its noisier than standard and certainly does seem to make thing a lot frantic from 5k onwards.

Just thought id ask the members with a can on whats the view.

Mine is a bit to noisey for me when its out. Its OK around town on a short journey, but if a on a long run it gets on my nerves. Might be the frequency that bothers me.

+1.

I used to fit the baffle, but not bother with the retaining screw to make it easy to fit / remove at will.

But occasionally the air pressure will make it pop out ! I had to retrace my steps once to find it.

Its fun around town / short journey with the baffle out. But on a motorway trawl its a pain in the ears..even with ear plugs in.

In and out for me... I get fed up with the bike being too quiet; take the baffle out, then after a while I'm fed up with it being too noisy, especially on the motorway, and put it back in.

But at least one gets to choose.

I've got a perfectly clean baffle here if anyone needs it.

never been used:augie

In on, Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

Out on, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Or was it the other way around? It's so confusing.... and a lot frantic (whatever that means)

Well Guys

Thanks for that, think i might go with the in/out option, depending on my mood or if her indoor's is on the back.
If in/out option doesn't mess the fueling up will stick with that method.

Thanks for decisive decisions :confused: :augie
