Akrapovic End Can

I've spotted an end can for 1150GS made by Akrapovic in the latest Hein Gericke Catalogue

Has anyone had one fitted and if so does it fit onto a Remus Y Piece?

Akapovic seem very well made when I've seen them on other bikes and owners seem very impressed with them

It's showing for sale in the HG catalogue at £356 which doesn't seem too bad in comparioson to other cans

Has anyone tried them?

If a standard silencer fits on the y piece, and the apovic is designed to fit on the standard pipe, it is very likely that any combination will fit.

How much. I reckon you’re better off taking your Y piece down to the local breakers, finding an aftermarket sportsbike can that fits and is roughly the same capacity as a GS and then making up a fixing bracket – or get one made for you. I’ve seen it done on both a GS and an RS with great results. Save the rest of the cash for fuel or fines!

They sell them here, a couple have been fitted to 1150GS's, the price is about the same which make's me think you should be able to get them cheaper in the UK.
