Hello

Has anyone here fitted the Akrapovic "over and under" exhaust, please?

three questions:

1. Is it offensicely loud?
2. Does it require Power Commander/other adjustments or can Ijust fit and forget without risking any damage to engine (i.e. running too lean)?
3. Does it still allow use of standard panniers.

Thanks,

Robin.

can't be of much help here ,im keen to know myself , but having akras on previous bikes [ktm 950 ,660 smc 'crf 450] it'll be loud with the bung out .I ve also read somewhere that the akra works ok but benifits from the power commander or tfi box [techlusion ] which i believe is cheaper than the power com and can be set up by yourself

Fits stock bags no problem, I was told by Bikebandit. Rumor mill is they're loud. Not too sure of fuel requirements.....went with a BOS instead.

Hi,

RiDE magazine had a 1200 on test and fitted it with an over and under Akro. They ran it on a dyno and it didnt require a power commander. For what it costs though i'd get it ran on a dyno if you fitted one, just to be sure.

Hi Hope this helps...

Have seen and heard a bike fitted with it at my dealers.

1) sounds and looks lovely. was certainly louder but still road legal. really nice burble!!! I am in love with this exhaust.

2) Dealer claimed about 6 or 7 bhp as there is no CAT in it!

3) no power commander or anything needed, just bolts on

4) Yes, bike was seen with standard panniers and they fitted!

5) Lend me £1200 so i can fit one... please :bounce1 :bounce1 :bounce1
