I have bought stuff from Italy before and not had any issues , its like all things ask the right questions , get the answers and make you descision . I found that the Italian sites do have people that speak English so most things can be discussed.Delivery can be longer but worth it.
Nippy is normally good , if a bit slow in some things , try emailing to have a chat with him before you dismiss that option , good luck.

Back in the days when I had My Honda NSS 125 Forza (No piss taking please) I bought my "Honda" branded Akrvpovic end can from Germany as it cost me £295 less than dealer was able to sell one and that included delivery within 2 days. I bought it from these guys. Might be worth a dabble.

I bought some Givi stuff directly from Italy, as it was way cheaper, even though postage was pricey it was still worth it.

if you can wait and you dont ride in winter, go with Calsport, i tried ordering Ti headers through Ebay from an italian company only to be told non in stock, Calsport are good to deal with

But shame that they don't seem to recognise repeat customers like me who was going for the second akra from them. Looked me up on the system and still said sorry no can do to my question in regards to loyalty discount however big. Ohh well!

I nearly bought my headers from Italy, through eBay, however the lead time was ridiculous. Calsprt got close enough to the price, amd delivered next day. Speak to Chris.

good time to buy from them is at the show, 20% off and a little more with a bit of haggling..i always take a shopping list....they sell some real quality gear and with that sort of discount your not far off getting your money back if decide to sell the bike and strip the bits

Which shows do they normally go to skid06? Will they be at the MCN London show this year do you know? if that is the case with discounts than yes please.

i think its a parent company of calsport the importer like you say..at the show the stands are at the side of each other

NEC i always buy of em

I got my full Givi luggage for my old S10 direct from Italy. £300 cheaper than U.K. And delivered within a week.

I've had several full akrapovic systems from Italy. No issues at all.
Just confirm their stock level, and/or quoted delivery times before you place the order. They all speak good English in my experience and are happy shipping to the UK.

I'd love to buy from the UK but places rarely seem competitive in pricing, nor are they generally willing to beat overseas prices.

Might be worth trying Moore Speed Racing. I've used them in the past to buy my Remus cans. They also sell Akrapovic. Certainly worth a phone call.

nice one lads, given me something to work with anyway:thumby:, itll probably end up being calsport if I'm honest, there local to me and I have dealt with them before so I know there a good bunch to deal with, as proved when I rang em, never quibbled about doin me a deal:D, as for nippy, hes propa pissed me off:blast, over the past few months ive spent a small fortune with him, not too mention over the years, never had a problem, regardless of what people say about him, ive always found him bang on whether its over the phone or by email, rang him at Christmas to see if he would match calsports price on a set of headers, he said ye no problem, but hang on I aint got em in stock, but they'll be here in the new year:thumby:, ok no probs, new year arrives gets an email to say there back in stock, so I mails him back to ask if you would still match calsports price etc.???, no reply:confused:, then all I got back was "I think you'll find calsports price is £649", that was it, just a one liner:confused:, so I emails back, yes I know its £649, but I asked you to match there deal price and you said you would, so will you:confused:, then all I got was "we can only match internet prices", I'm like WTF:blast, again emaild him and asked well why did you not say this when I rang you and you agreed to match calsport:blast, then alls gone quiet, so I'm sorry nippy my friend you've just lost yourself a customer:thumby: I did actually think about just selling the akra can and going down the remus route, can and headers and still save money:augie
