Akrapovic Fuel Map Advice

I am probably going to be selling my 990SM which currently has the Akra cans on and associated Akra fuel map. Like so many others I will be removing the cans and selling them seperatly...I am sure others have done similar here? If so I would like to ask if you went to the trouble/expense of getting the bike remapped back to standard or just winged it and left the bike with the Akra fuel map?

From what I hear it's just a matter of getting the standard map put back on by a dealer. Some don't charge for it, others might ask for £20 ish toward "labour" though it's a 5 minute job (don't let them fob you off and charge you while the bike is idling for the reset for 15 mins!).

I've heard it's not too good to have the standard pipes on akra mapping as they get much hotter. Not sure how seriously to take that but I wouldn't risk it personally.
