guys , as above.

present setup : Remus Hexacone slip-on mated to stock Header/Manifold.

question : will the Akra header fit the Remus Slip-On ?

thanks.

.

Given that an Akrapovič can will fit on the stock headers as well as the Akrapovič ones and that a Remus can will also fit on the stock headers, the answer is.........probably. Capiche....? ;)

ok , thanks for the responses.

with the Akra headers , I assume the cat is deleted ? Does it then need a remap ?

or will it run fine with the headers sans remap ?

.

Mine has a Remus header, minus cat, with Akra end can so not exactly the same as you are asking, but the same principles should apply.

It seemed to run fine without a remap, however when I took it to Hilltop and the dyno analysis showed it was running a bit lean and was a shade under 100 bhp at rear wheel. Probably wouldn't have caused any issues in normal UK temperatures but Geoff did mention an increased risk of problems in hotter climates!
After the remap I got an additions 20+ hp and it has made a significant difference to the whole feel of the bike (I put the curves up on one of Ding Dongs threads)

So in summary, you could probably run it fine without a remap, but getting one done does make a big difference.

Good luck and enjoy whichever way you go :thumby:

thanks todd.

I live in a very hot part of the world and might need the remap.

You certainly do! Showing as 35 degrees on google

If you do get a remap you will certainly notice a difference :thumb
