Akrapovic muffler

Yeh btut I got the HP on mine thats got to make the bike go faster. And in reality it was only $200 more that what you are paying, and if customs sees yours is over $1000.00 then it will be even less. I just ordered off the dealer because I didn't want to stuff around, have purchased plenty of stuff OS but maybe the hype of the dealer sucked me in?

See the difference being your dealer is willing to work with you. My dealer is the only BMW factory dealership in the country and yet they would not budge on the price even though I just paid $30K for a brand new bike. I wasn't going to pay $500 profit into their pockets. Besides if clicking a few buttons online is stuffing around we are really spoilt now aren't we. And I am all about supporting local dealers, once they get it through their thick sculls that we live in a world wide marketplace

No duties or customs for me mate, been in this game a long time. There are ways around the system, well for little while longer anyway, until they close that loop hole

so a "proper" one is even cheaper:rob:beerjug:

I take it as you are taking a piss Nutty.

I for one couldn't care if it said Nippy's on the side of it as you won't be able to see the darn thing anyway since it will be hidden behind my vario cases. But I am sure some nob will question it once I re-sell it one day :blast

I'd quite like to de-brand my can as the Akra sticker isn't pretty. Any one know how to get these off, I'm assuming that their glue is pretty heat resistant, so the hair dryer trick won't work.

The Stickers are foiled back and will remove easy just peel the corner and if it leaves any glue a bit of wd40 on a cloth will remove it.

Akra do a variety of different sized stickers some look ok but that one on the gs can looks lost.

After now using the stock demo bike i have until mine is back and the fact i kind of like the stock exhaust tone so can anyone compare the stock to the akra with baffles !

I'm with you on this, I like the "end can" but not the sticker, don't much like the "HP" stuff either. I'm sure the sticker will come off with the correct solvent or pain striper, before you try ensure the titanium is clean and has not been "sealed" or lacquered.

Not taking the piss, but Nippy advertises his as cheaper than one from BMW, yet some BMW dealers will knock these down to £699, so his isn't cheaper.:rob And there'll be no warranty disputes if purchased from a main dealer.:blagblah:D

If you have an iPhone, download the Akrapovic Bike Exhaust app and there's two sound clips giving you exactly that. :thumb2
