Akrapovic Slip on

Noticed in MCN yesterday!

The Akrapovic silencer from www.performanceparts-ltd.com is £768 it doesn't have the BMW HP markings, just an akrapovic sticker,

the one from BMW is £840 , so a saving of £72,

Mind you, if you go to a BMW dealer you should be able to get a 10% discount,But if they don't have them in stock here's an alternative,

ps, they look identical, apart from the sticker

You should be able to get 15% off at a decent main dealer. Plus you'll have the extra peace of mind of the BMW warranty. Plus, if its supplied by BMW it shouldn't affect your insurance as its classed as a BMW part (I'm with BMW insurance and when I told them, they said it didn't make any difference to the premium).

I explained to my insurer that it was the identical device to the Akrapovic exhaust supplied by BMW, but sourced through a 3rd party at a lower cost, and they agreed to insure it at no extra cost.
