You’ve opened a can of worms now, Warlord!

Brilliant idea Nutty, a can of worms strapped to the bike, so if the worms spin around quickly enough in the can, the bike will obviously go faster, just as plausible as other stuff.![]()
And he could eat them when the bike breaks down/ he falls off in the middle of nowhere, stranded for hours on end.![]()
Did about 250 miles today, and by the afternoon the bike was starting to get its act together.
Really enjoyed the ride home, was good.
Revving it up to the limiter was better as well, so something is changing for the better.
probably some adaption going on, the o2 sensors do have some use after all

Just my 2 pence worth, mine and Warlords bike are fitted out similarly, as regards shocks, Akra headers, mine are SS though, with standard end can, The difference I believe is that I have an AF-Xied fitted and my bike is a GS 15 year, so Euro 3.
When I fitted the headers, I was running the AF-Xied on setting 7, as before, But the bike ran ok, but seemed to lack something, so I set the AF-Xied to 8 and that made a big difference to throttle response when overtaking. I think it just needed a richer AFR mixture to get the best out of the Akra headers. Any body running a similar set up, but with the AF-Xied set on 9 ?
willtry out 8 in the spring or summer when the heat is back, but different setup, mine is stock headers and muffler.
Whats this temperature in single figures you speak of ?......
Lower 20s forecast for today...........I know I'm lucky, it is a bit cloudy though. I've still got my Nature Boy outfit on, ( shorts, t/shirt, sandles ).
Average January daytime temps are 16c, we never get any frost or snow down here on the coast.
and the more you go uphill the colder it gets.
Saturday looks like a good day for a ride out, a bit grim for next week for you though! If you go out, enjoy....![]()
