Aftre a great day out at the NEC Bike Show yesterday and after looking at the GS'S on the BMW stand I have decided I want an Akrapovic end can to go with my Staintune Headers. BMW want £495.00 for one does anyone know where I can get one cheaper ?

In these days of political correctness, perhaps I should have said "wife, husband, boyfriend, girlfriend or life partner regardless of gender, while in no way trying to denigrate the valuable contribution to society made by those who remain single and do not enter into any serious commitment (matrimonial, financial, emotional or residential), whether through choice of compulsion.
Anyway, my wife has her own nail clippers; I'd be happy to send her across with them. No hurry to return either!

Thanks Thunder, yes i did mean the official BMW one, I best start ringing and negociating tomorrow. Thanks anyway. Do you still have the Two Brothers Racing Can on yours or have you gone down the Akro line, is that your bike in the picture ??

I switched to the BMW Akra as I got the chance to pick up a pre-owned one from a fellow member of this parish.
Loved the Two Bros but the other half found it slightly noisey when we went to the East Mids meet so the easily removed baffle on the Akra will keep both of us happy.

Anyone else noticed if their end can looks like this.

The can expands backwards through the carbon hanger when hot and contracts back through when cold.
OK if the can is clean but when away on holls you can see the result.

Yes all the bolts and clamps are tight.

Same problem with mine. Not happy. Can has only been on for a couple of weeks so think it will have to go back to the supplier until Akrapovic sort out an alternative support / strap arrangement.
