You won't regret it, it's fantastic!

200 miles on a Vines loaner with a de-baffled Akra while mine was being serviced convinced me. Going back to the standard 'zaust was like hopping on a wheezy old TC. Ugh

They're clever like that in Vines:comfort:D:beerjug:

Not at Redhill yesterday.

They told me the baffles were not removable.

Still - a nice day for a quick ride back there.

I've already forwarded your pics to them - Thanks :thumb2

Get them to speak to Guildford, as they said it was a doodle to remove them!

Darren, Vines Redhill Service manager, is driving a bike with the baffles removed....

There are no baffles.

There are no baffles to remove.

I broke the weld myself. removed the collar insert which I think is just for trim and started it up. No difference so tried to get it back together.

In the process lost little grub screw down exhaust.

Tried to get exhaust off.

Went to halfords to buy large Torx set.

Removed slip-on.

You can look straight down the pipes. There are no restrictions.

Spent an hour bending bits of wire to go round the exhaust valve to fish for the screw which I could just see with a torch.

30 minutes spent trying to get the fucking grub screw back to where it was before I broke the weld. It's just bloody fiddly.

Refit exhaust.

Go to pub.

My advice is don't bother!!!!
