Akropovic baffles

Tried getting the baffles out from the akro fitted to my 2014 GSA LC. Bottom one came out fine but the top one won't no matter what I do. Tried W40 as a lubricant but to no avail. Any sensible suggestions for removal?
 
What's it like with just one removed? My CB1300 was best that way when I had a Blueflame twin port silencer on it!

After I broke the weld and took the screws out, Pliers and pulled like a bitch to remove mine - took a good bit of effort mind!
 
Must admit - it does sound pretty cool and burps and farts a bit too. But I do want to get the other one out. Pliers simply wont grip cause its so tight. Guess I'll have to take the whole exhaust off and try budging it by knocking out from behind - if that's possible.

Not sure of the design, but I've always used a wooden handled brush to get baffles out, push the wooden handle into the baffle, then rock gently up and down, while putting pressure on the handle to wedge it against the baffle, pulling it out.......certainly done the trick on Arrow & Yoshimura exhausts I had.

Wish I had the Akra to have the problem with ha ha! - jealous!

Had the same problem with mine. got a piece of 3/4 flat bar (approx 70cms) and made a hook on one end (just bent it back on itself with a bit of heat) and drilled a hole and put a nut and bolt in the other end (to stop the Mole Grips sliding off.) Put bar down through reducer and hooked the back of it. Gripped bar with said Mole Grips below the bolt and tapped firmly, and not too hard, under Mole Grips head and after about 10 seconds of firm rapid tapping and turning the hook of the bar around the back of the reducer, out she popped.
Yes one hell of a bodge but it worked!!!

The noise does get bit wearing on really long journey but oh what a great noise, especially the bangs and pops and farts on the overrun.... Been out for 18 months easy now.

Used a flat bar with a hook connected to a long thread spindle with a nut and washer at the end and used a large cylinder piece of metal as a slide hammer. Took some doing but eventually got the bloody baffle out! Thanks for the advice gramshep
