Alarm removal.. What to do once the darn thing is in the bin?

.

thanks Mike

I realised that I would have to scroll through all the functions but there is a bit of fannying about to do to get to that stage before turning the ignition on.

If ignition is turned on from 'cold' this scrolling sequence does not happen - the bike just gets itself ready to start.

What do you do to get to the stage where scrolling options starts (please)

Tried to remove the alarm today but didn't find the female connector pointed in the last photo. Any clues???

Hi Mark,

Appreciate that this is an old thread but I have the same issue and can't get into the programming mode, did you find out how to do this?

Cheers

Apologies for bringing this thread back up, but I’ve removed the alarm and immobiliser from my 2001 1150 and there was one point that I got stuck on. I had removed all the wiring bar one single thin black wire that went into the bottom of the two large black connectors near the headstock.

This is the one that needs replacing with the single green wire that was the funny connector seen in the original photos. Pop it out of the connector and push it on where the single black wire was.
