It has to be programmed by the dealer, your better off get a datatool installed as you will get a discount on your insurance once you have supplied the certificate of installation

BM Insurance give discount on the BMW alarm fitted to 1200 GS and ADV and the rest of 1200 BM's l expect.

Hi T900, ive been thinken about the BMW alarm for my own bike. The dealer reckoned it would be about £230 all in. (fitted). Seasons Greetings.
