Alaska 1980's style

For those of you who have been on one of little Alaska jaunts, you will recognise a lot of the roads on this brilliant ride report off ADV rider http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=948577.

This guy did it in 1980 when it really was an adventure and not a fairly easy run as it is now. When I first did the Cassiar Highway it was mostly dirt and was a nightmare but everything else has changed. I love the then and now pictures

Hardcore ... and whilst it is still possible to do it that way I much preferred doing it with a GS and proper beds n showers
