A buddy and I are riding from Okotoks,Alberta to Alaska and back in 12 days time. If anyone has any good photo locations or a must see spot, please let me know and if it's on our route we can then stop! Thanks!
Photo ops everywhere as you can imagine
My route would be up through the Icefields Parkway to Jasper and then up to Grand Prairie.
Pick up the Alcan at Dawson Creek with a pic at the big Start of the Alcan sign.
Up the Alcan to Watson Lake and the Signpost Tree then head north to Dawson City which is a greta old town and pix a plenty.
Pick up the Top of the World Highway through Chicken and back on the Alcan at Tok then up to Fairbanks.
Either run the Dalton or loop down to Anchorage. Either way if fantastic in it's own way.
Back down the Alcan and pick up the Cassiar Highway down to Stewarts Point/Hyder and the Salmon Tail Glacier before blasting East via Prince George.
Lots of riding but you'll be wanting to stop and take pictures at every corner. Bears, Elk, Caribou and Moose walking around all over the damned place so before of those.
