Hi
Does anyone know;
- a reliable tyre fitter in Algeciras to purchase and fit a pair of TKCs. Ideally I'd like to contact them and arrange things beforehand.

- if the train station offers a left luggage facility, and is it charged on a daily rate

Thanks
David

I assume you're going to Morroco?

There's a Suzuki garage in Ceuta, just over the water, called "Casa Suzuki"

As you come out of the ferry terminal, it's just off the big roundabout you have to go round. Don't go back along the waterfront, take the first big exit. There's a tapa bar opposite.

Don't know what tyres they stock, but they sorted Jim-Adv's dakar rear out when it was shagged on our first trip to Morocco.

You may be able to find out more info about them and possibly leave some gear there too?

I should be in spain over christmas and maybe could help about 20 mins from Ferry

Spanish Bob had contacted Continental for me last year when I went to Morocco, and they arranged for the KTM shop called SOLOVERDE MOTOS at HUERCAL DE ALMERIA to fit TKCs on my GS. It's a bit far away from Algeceira (280 kms), but they were very helpful (they had a rider in the Dakar at that moment).

They refitted our normal tires after we came back, and only charged a few Euros.

Algeciras - Morocco

Thanks for the responses

Yes , destination morocco, for christmas and new year, (inshallah - just getting in some practice) assuming i dont encounter any show-stoppers with the bike in the next few weeks. Already getting paranoid about the driveshaft! - R100GS

Almeria is a bit far for a tyre change but good to know as a last resort.
Maybe I'll post a query on a Spanish web forum to find a closer workshop.
Ideally I'd like to avoid bringing the tyres all the way from UK

Thanks for your offer Phil. I'll let you know if I need some help - otherwise maybe just share a beer overlooking the med?

regards

David
