Ali Pannier Rack measurements pls...

Hi All. I need some measurements of some racks, not the orginal i.e bmw as my boxes arent shaped just square so if someone dosent mind getting handy with a tape it would most appreciated i will post some piccys when all is done.

For what bike? I have Stahlkoffer frames, plain and simple, if you need to use as a pattern. I live about an hour from you.

Your description of what your after is awful , Reminds me of myself ....

If i am correct in my thinking ,what your after is a Rack for mounting
panniers..

I use these Laser Profiled 8mm steel ,
These are the basis for every rack i use ,you need to weld on your 3 attach
points to each u bracket..

Can someone measure there pannier frames/racks i.e the where you put your panniers on your bike
I am making them from tube btw
These will be for a 1200 GSA
1. tube size
2. the rectangle that sits off the bike
3. the arms that meet said rectangle
4. the connecting rod to pillons footrest
5. the connecting rod at rear, near numberplate
for both sides as the exhasut side does sit further off the bike
hope this is easier to understand

If no one can help, then a trip to your local BM dealer with a camera, vernier calipers and expanding ruler should work

This is unlikely to happen.
The Tube your After is 18mm and nigh on impossible to get
unless you buy a quantity.
I will sell you two hoops , and you can then do your own
measureing and weld where you see fit ...
