I'm looking at ali panniers and have been talking to Civil about his. Thing is, I've got a Remus can which I like, Civil doesn't know if this will be OK with his boxes. Does anyone have run Caja boxes with Remus. In fact, does anyone run any ali boxes with Remus?

I don't really like the exhaust extension thingy on TT either, for no other reason than it looks a it naff.

thanks,

have a remus can and tt zegas no problem at all the frame leaves lots of room for the can and i dont use and think there is no need for the extension at all

thanks frank1200. Do you have the standard set - 35l without the cutout/41 l on the other side? Does the frame fit into the GS mounting brackets?

How long does it take to demount the panniers? and the frame?

thanks

have the standard set 35/41 ltr it takes 30 seconds to remove both panniers, you have to remove the bmw frame and it takes about an hour to fit the frame.the slowest part is striping the back of the bike to put a support bar under the rear seat. it would be possible to remove the rack in about 15 minutes maybe less if you left the support in place under the seat :)
