Ali panniers

Now I'm sure it it possible but is it a simple process to use the BMW aluminium panniers that were on my stolen 1200GSA on my 1150GS?

These are not the Vario things but the solidly made aluminium boxes.
For instance is the exhaust in the same place?
Do I just need just the mounting brackets or the skills of a Steptoe and a fully kitted out workshop?

Have a search on here for 'Holan' rails and you should see some pics of the 12GSA panniers on the 1150.

£180 or something for the frames
