AliExpress Headlight Protectors

in 2015 I purchased the Tourartec headlight guard, the mesh one. Fitted it, Very happy.
A mate of mine bought a new 1250 GSA and asked me about my guard and where I bought it from, and how much I paid.
Laughing he then informed me, he had just bought the Chinese exact copy from Ali Express. It was Identical in every way, excet the Touretec logo. Literally, 1/4 of the price.
8 months later, In Norway, I noticed his guard was absent, However, the fixing mounts remained. He told me it kept coming away, then it fell off. He then showed me the black metal fixings, Rusty, looked awful.
Make of that what you will ?
I always buy the genuine item, at the bloated cost. .......... My 2015 guard, is still fitted to my latest bike (3 since 2015) and still looks new !

£20k bike and cheap, shoddy knock off add on…..

Treat yourself- get the right thing…it’s cheap for a reason.

Link is for wrong product. Removing the four screws on those (if its what Im visualising) is a piece of cake. Nothing will happen. On the other hand mine rusted out in about 5 months although I do live near the sea. My mate ordered one and it was much better quality (by luck) and had "LR" logo on the fixing right where "Mr Rider" has it on his version

BRING FORWARD THE INTERPRETER.......:D

The one my mate had was a cheap order from Aliexpress similar to below but turned up branded with the Lone Rider Logo. Think he paid £25 so its either a complete copy or LR is getting them from the same place

I have one of those cheap chinese guards. I removed the grill and cut hinges out. I just wanted acrylic protector. Well, all was good for one week but on first clening the acrylic simply broke in few pices. No surprise, I know chinese acrylics are joke. Thankfully, I still had the grill part that I used as a template to draw the acrylic needed to be replaced. Took it to my friend's shop where he cut nice piece of "european" acrylic on his CNC machine. It was 1 year ago and it's still on the bike.
None of the protectors is of my liking. That is why I've chosen the cheap one until I find something better that I wouldn't mind paying full price.
Well, the new protector is out, just the way I like it, and it's not cheap. The only problem with it is lack of reviews and I don't know if it would leak water and dust inside as you would have to disassemble it for cleaning:

I am waiting for that to be released too. I have just an acrylic one made by a guy in the UK. Did find this on aliexpress which is similar to the one from "ABikething"

Sometimes is difficult to reach those AliExpress links but if I've got the right one, that one is mounted on the brackets. The one by "Abikething" is imitating existing front cover of the headlight and when bolted on, it looks like it's part of the headlight. The gain is, you have double headlight cover. Very nice design that I wouldn't mind to buy. I only want to know if it'll let the water and dust in.

Here is the video about the protector:

No problem fitting those as per question in original post. Just replace them with the longer ones supplied.
