:JBJust had the first service on my Aniversay 1200GS. No problems at all. Bike running smooth and faultlessly. (same as my 3 other GS's) The 2010 motor is a peach. Even the exhaust noise is not noticable any more, I really like it. I did think it was a bit loud at first but with the boxes on its great.
Service done at Bristol Motorrad (Bath Road M/C's) £131 totall very resonable. Polite easy experience. Service done while I waited.
Average 54.5mpg over the first 600 miles. No oil used. Great build quality and finish.
Boring thread really.

I would complain if I were you! surely you bought this bike fully expecting it to be a steaming pile of crap and clearly BMW have completely failed to deliver this. Dont take any nonsense from them if they refuse to do anything about it and always mention fit for purpose not to mention threatening them with a lawyer seams to be a hot favourite round here.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Surely you can find something to moan about? :nenau

Well actually, I had to put petrol in it after 120 miles or so after buying it. Could not find anything in the manual about that. Wondered why I had a warning message. Think I will sue:rob

Maybe he could moan about having nothing to moan about and thereby feeling left out.

My moan is I don't have the time or funds to go off touring anything like as often as the bike makes me want to.
