I have a TB coming in March, I'm looking forward to it very much and have a trip booked for Switzerland in June.

In the mean time, here I am reading through your forum, enjoying many threads and gaining lots of info on my first GS.
As I'm doing this ive just realised that so far - thanks to you guys, I have already spent £1000 on bits I didn't know I needed for a bike I don't yet have!

Fancy hand guards with moving parts
Extra mud guards
Front & rear camera system
Geeky tool box that fits beside pannier
Little tool bag to go on the handlebars
Ridiculously expensive chains, locks & ground anchor (to be fitted in my alarmed, CCTV'd and multiple locked garage)
Various din plug & adaptors
Optimate din plug adaptor

Plus I already have the powder coater lined up to do my crash & pannier bars & the guy to wrap the luggage itself.

I hope February passes swiftly so I don't spend too much more!

Great forum chaps, thanks for all the info.

Will you be asking your powder coated to take care of the bike’s centre stand while it’s still clean and not rusted?

If you add a £12 subscription to that list you'll be able to access the for sale section, in which you may find some of what you are looking for :thumb2

Don't worry, I'm sure we can help you liberate your wallet further...

Venture sheild for your tank is a must. Thread on it somewhere.

Yes that does look like a very good idea. I Have a friend who does all that kind of thing, he has done bits for me in the past inc Shotguns, and bits stone protection on my car. As he will be doing the luggage I think ill get his to do some other bits inc the tank.

Thank you, good call.

Well to be honest i think i'll just stick with them, dont want to look like an extra from Quadraphenia!

The only time ive worn my hi viz was for my advanced rider test, other than that i dont bother with it.

Well it sounds like you're set then.

Happy days. Roll on Collection Day.

Don't forget the pictures, its the law.
