Cruising the forums it seems fairly quiet in the airhead section……anyone doing anything interesting out there?

I’m waiting on Mikeyboy putting frame and engine/gearbox/suspension together on my project, which was inspired by the one that Tetley has done. Once he’s done the hard work I’m going to finish it off with all the bodywork and electrics, so expect some photo’s to follow.

Anyone else building or tweaking anything over the winter?

They are all dead, or having a grandad nap…

Well, I’m a recent grandad and heading for my first knee op in February, even so, still working on my modified 81 G/S - it is admittedly going to be something of a ‘soft roader’ but hope it’ll be back on the road soon.

I've just wheeled this out of the garage after its bodywork refurb.....

Colour change

I’ve recently repainted my R90/6, I had it for sale earlier this year, custard yellow obviously wasn’t to everyone’s taste so following Mikeyboy’s advice I painted it . Ford Metallic Panther black.
I like it so much now I’m keeping it.

Great work, that looks fabulous now.

'Too quiet' in airhead land usually refers to valve clearances...

Busy enough here today,
This mornings job, detail the fins on the valve covers,
Postman pat should have the last bits for the rear end,so I can fit the bevel.
Then it’s over to you:thumby:

Cheeky young whipper snapper! Say that again! Where's me ear trumpet?

I just became a grandad last week thank you :rob

All quiet? Pretty much. Apart from the gasping, wheezing, cursing and then snoring after changing these SOBs!

Mine has been languishing in the garage for 15 yes. An unfinished project which has cost me so far more than it is worth. Still, hopefully one day it will roar into action.
