it seems to be the in thing to "knock" dealers atm...
well to redress things slightly heres a big thumbs up to AJ of Shipley..
as detailed elsewhere, thats where I bought my GSA from and a thouroughly enjoyable experience it was...even my couple of warranty issues were handled in a fairly exemplary manner...
the reason for my missive, is I called in there to pick up some parts I'd ordered (Pannier straps) which I'd had a phone call about to let me know were in,
I was recognized at the parts desk, they knew all about the parts, I was asked how I was enjoying the bike and was everything OK after the warranty work ?
Then, the salesman I'd dealt with said hello, and started chatting about my new lid (Shoei DS) my Rev it jacket and general chit chat, then offered me a coffee, just being friendly:thumb2 as obviously theres not much chance of me buying another bike just yet !:D
So, all in all my AJ experience ??
Very positive and thats all depts not just sales...
would I go and buy from them again ??
Yup...too right....:thumb
so...the moral is.... take dealers as you find them, not as you read about them ont T'interweb:beerjug:

i picked my gs up last saturday from allan jefferies.they did all they could to help.lots of free coffee too.

I agree, picked up my gs from there last week. couldn't fault them. although I realised I'd paid dealer price for the bike but the service was second to none...

AJ fine for me

Just posted another thread about slipping clutch, as I was in the area this afternoon popped and informed them of the problem, within 20 mins the bike was booked in later this week for investigation and correction and I was riding out on a demo R1200R.

Yes the service guy was busy, and yes I had not phoned ahead as I was passing and thought I'd pop in and ask, but all handled in a decent friendly manner

Not had a problem with them in the 12 months I've owned my GSA
