Alloy Pannier Protection

I've noticed that Ventureshield now do a kit to protect the GSA alloy boxes from corrosion. Unfortunately it's not cheap at about £70.

Anyone used this kit and can give advice on how easy/difficult it is to fit and how effective it is?:

got mine 2nd hand so got them sprayed black looks good cost £30

Covered my top box in ACF this year when I did the rest of the bike, the rest of the bike has born the brunt of the winter without a hint of corrosion, the top box however is looking like it's no stranger to the British winter!

Invest in the kit if you"re worried about cosmetics.
