Alloy wheels on a 2003 1150 help needed

I've just sold via auction a pair of alloys. The purchaser has just phoned to tell me that as his bike is one of the new servo braked 1150's the 3 spoke front from an ABS 1100RT wont fit.

Anyone know if this is the case, and if so what are his options for a front wheel. The rear in the set a 10 spoke from an 1100s is not a problem.

Yours mildly confused (just spent 3 and a half hours fighting my way through traffic getting home from Cardiff)

Amongst all the great knowledge base in the club I thought someone would know the answer to this one?

Has no one tried an alloy conversion on an evo brake 1150 yet?

Evo Brakes have nothing to do with it....

I have alloys on CC II which is Evo....they were taken off CC I that wasn't..........so the conversion works on both...

I have the 5(10) spoke wheels front and rear off the K1200RS

Must be something to do with the 3 spoke wheel

One of our members that lives in Preston has a 3 spoke converion......
