:D Now for the PC V :green gri

Looks good, be nice to have two sets of wheels so can have knobblies and road tyres. One of the things on my list, its a long list!

Nice wheels, and those PR3s are getting scarce now. Same would be on my list, but Wilbers come first.

I've got the later type alloys. No weight advantage over wires but far more British salt tolerant. At least when they've been powder coated.
I don't ride fast enough to need road tyre speed ratings so went for TKC-70s. I'm impressed with them but TBH they look much better on wires than alloys.

Bendy, I don't do any "off piste" riding so it makes sense for me to have a road biased set of tyres. These are "V" rated to 149mph and like you i don't ride that fast so these will do fine and the old girl would never reach those speeds anyway. Will go for a set of PR4s next time. I can buy a set of them for £193 delivered which is pretty good value I think.

Under £200 is great for PR4s.
I also do no off piste riding and have never really liked the Tourance style tyres so was decidedly unsure about the new Conti TKC-70.
The issue down here is single track lanes often with gravel over tarmac down the road centreline. It's nowhere close to even a crushed rock surface but can be slippery. My Maxxis SuperMax rear (which I loved) gave me one or two "moments of fun" on these gravel layers. I could live with that but this time thought I'd go less road bias rather than more road bias.
I've been very surprised at just how good the TKC-70s are. Apart from a tuneful sing from the treads I would never know they are supposed to be 25% off road use. They are (relatively) low on speed rating so track days are out but are more than fast enough for UK roads.
Tread life? Who knows. I doubt they will beat Tourance but might be better than sporty PRs.
